If you think that it is wrong to
abuse Jack to "save" Jill, then read on. Understand how
the state- governed "Child-Protective Systems" neither protect the
children nor operate in a sensible, systematic manner.
News Flash: House Ways and Means Subcommittee hearing on Division of
Youth & Family Services (DYFS/NJ) is under federal investigation and
is being sued by
Children's Rights, Inc. According to Marcia Robinson Lowry, founder
and executive director of Children's Rights,
1 in 10 kids in foster care are being abused
or neglected in New Jersey. And as indicated in the procedings, this problem is not unique to New Jersey, but is systemic throughout the country. The founder of Save Your Children has had his own horrors in dealing with DYFS, which in part led to the creation of Save Your Children. He personally knows how broken the system is. The child protection system in this country is broken at a fundamental level. It is simply impossible for government to care for children or even make sound judgements on which kids are TRULY in need of assistance. The child snatchers in many cases wrongfully snatch your children and put them in a system which does not carefully screen foster parents and in many cases turn foster homes into "mini orphanages" where children are simply DUMPED. Is it no surprise that abuse rates in the system are so high?
The foster care system in this country have become child-abuse farms. Children are more likely to be abused in many cases than the alledged situations they came from. Why all of this? Because a bunch of bureaucracts want to be employed and need your children as justification for their existence. It's an industry where the children are seen as "precious resources", words used in this investigation. Since when is a child a "resource?" A resource is a thing to be exploited. The government itself is calling our children "precious resources". Why? And what do they REALLY mean by those words?
Your children are NOT resources to be taken and exploited by the government. Your children are your precious offsprings, your darlings, your beloved, and our future. They will carry forth the love and nuturing you give them into the future, replicating that love to their own offspring, and continuing the existence of the human species. You love your children and they are not pawns and "resources" of the State. Please let your elected officials know and understand that.

More facts -- it is well-documented that children typically DIE IN THE SYSTEM -- and this documentation comes from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services itself:
Deaths that occur while a child is under the custody or supervision of the child welfare agency are especially egregious. Child protective services (CPS) in 45 States reported 32 deaths that occurred in foster care. Of these, 17 deaths were reported by other agencies such as the coroner's office and fatality review boards. Approximately 2.7 percent of child fatalities reported by the States occurred in some type of out-of-home placement setting.
Read that again: 2.7% of ALL child fatalities happen on CPS's watch! According to this NCPA study, about 500,000 children are in foster care -- as of 1996 --. What's the number of children in the general population? According to Trends 1997, nearly 70 million children were estimated to be in the States in 1996. So, in foster care, less than 1%, 0.7% to be precisely, of the children are under the control of CPS. So that would mean that the death rate in CPS is nearly 4 times greater -- 3.8 times to be precise -- than the average for the general population! This is "child-protection"? The children are clearly better off staying with their parents in all but the most egregious cases.
Let me state that again -- children are 4 times more likely to die under CPS's care than normal. By the government's own accounting, once you do the math. This is clearly not protecting children, but murdering them. There is no excuse for this. Period. That is, of course, not counting other forms of child abuse that also occurs in the system. And another tragedy is that the "Child-Protective Services" in this country are especially hard on families with handicap children -- particularly the mentally handicap. Why? Because they are often ignorant of the special problems that can arise out of dealing with the mentally handicap; because it is too easy for them to pass off a problem beyond their understanding as "emotional abuse"; because it is easier to show "progress" with such families -- usually middle-class law-abiding citizens who are struggling to do their best for their special-needs children. Their idea of "progress" is forcing the parents under threat of having their child snatched away to attend "parenting" courses -- often that has nothing to do with special-needs children -- and also to see psychologists or therapists that are usually of little or no help, but are only there to make money off of these innocent families -- at taxpayer's expense. And who will be the ones that will be diligent at keeping the forever ongoing appointments? The honest, innocent, struggling families -- not the real hardened child-abusers who really need these services.
The other crux of this heinous problem
lies with society itself, which is largely ignorant or biased against the mentally handicap. It is bad enough that
beleaguered parents have to deal with the complexities and headaches of raising such a child without also having
to deal with the fallout of ignorance of those around them! 
Those with normal children are also beset with dangers. Reckless teenagers (and sometimes younger kids) will sometimes hang CPS over their parents' heads to get their way. When they don't get their way, they'll call CPS and lie about some minor type of child-abuse. When the CPS rips them asunder and sticks them in the vulture-care (I'm sorry - foster care) system, they are quickly sorry for what they've done, but then it's too late -- the CPS will not listen to the teen anymore, and the forced estrangement continues. No one wins.
If a younger child, perhaps too young to be aware of proper word usage, happens to use the wrong word in describing something at home, the school system goes paranoid and "reports" this to CPS, often distorting the issue. By the time CPS comes flying out to knock on your door, you are presented with pure fiction that bears no resemblance to what your child originally said it the first place. In some cases, they may insist on "questioning" your child -- really they want to put your young child through an inquisition, and get her to say things that they can use against you.
It stands to reason that NO PARENT ANYWHERE in the United States is immune from these dangers -- it can happen to you, me, anyone at anytime. Families do not have rights under the law. Your children are not really yours, but are chattel of the state. Your integrity as a parent is always open to query and scrutiny, no matter how good a parent your are. And the CPSes in this country are HUNGRY for more children to be tied up in their system to keep their careers going. They are hungry for YOUR children. They have grown callous and have lost their principles. They want cases that are EASY to process, not ones that require real work. They want young healthy blond- hair and blue-eyed children, because these children are regarded as being "very marketable" -- foster parents are beating down the doors to get these type of children. It is easier for them to come after you, a middle-class law-abiding citizen, than it is for them to go after true child abusers Firstly, there are far more good people than bad. Secondly, you live in less dangerous neighborhoods than many of the places real child abuse actually occurs. Thirdly, you are assumed naive and therefore easy prey, for the simple fact that CPS has a unspoken gag order on the press, preventing them from doing the real investigative reporting that would keep CPS honest and above water (what a concept!).
The purpose of this site, therefore, is to serve as a focal point for all the atrocities that CPS commit against children and their parents. To "err" on the side of the child is to abuse that child and to traumatize that child and his parents. You DO NOT kill Jack to "save" Jill. Yet CPS does so routinely. But what is an "err"? It is really a "mistake" when social workers find ways to circumvent the laws to pursue their dreaded goals? Is it really an "err" when CPS does everything in its power to prevent the reunion of child and innocent parent? Is it really a "mistake" when innocent parents are forced to "confess" and heed the will of a bureaucracy with their children used as bargaining chips? Is it really an "err" that CYS receives its funding based largely on the number of children in the system? Is it a innocent mistake? Or open malice? Why should your children be used to justify their existence?
The Child-Industrial Complex needs your children to stay alive. It needs head count. It needs children that are easy to place. It need vulture care (foster care) parents, regardless of their backgrounds or suitability. Yes, my friends, the Child-Industrial Complex exist to perpetuate itself, and they will forever seek new ways to define us parents as "child abusers". The latest push is to define cigarette smoking "child abuse" if the parents do it around the kids. What will it be next? Will just looking at your kid cross-eyed be considered "emotional child abuse"? Pretty soon, they will find "ways" to define every parent in our nation as some type of child abuser.
To all parents in America, I have one piece of solemn advice for you: Stay Alert, Trust No One, Always Keep Your Passport Handy. At least everyone knew where Hitler stood. But the current system is sly and seductive, indirectly controlling the media and the minds of the public at large. But just like the concentration camps had its lot of willing volunteers, so it seems that CPS has its lots of people who believe in them, either professionally or at a distance. And this time it is not one ethnic group being put in gas chambers. It is children, our children, all children, that have become items of commodity for the Child-Industrial Complex. All parents are seen as "potential child abusers" by the child snatchers. It is time to cast off the shackles of complacency and see for yourself what is going on in our country. We can stop this. We can put an end to the atrocities CPS endangers us all with. And we will stand victorious someday. But it must begin with you. Each and every parent in this country owes it to themselves to become educated, and then to put an end to The Problem. Stand Up For Your Parental Rights before they are completely demolished by CPS! Do not wait for that busy- body to come knocking at your door. Take Action Now.
